Mustard Bison Beckett (Full-Size)

Originally built in 1892, our Gallery is housed in the historic Beckett Block here on Main Street in Williamstown, VT. Derived from the Old English beo, meaning "bee," and cot, meaning "shelter," Beckett is often interpreted as "beehive", lending roots to the nickname of our building. Here in ‘The Beehive’ this unique bag was born.
 
This chewy, slouchy hide is our Mustard North American Bison. It is a tumbled leather with a nice pebbled grain and very faint pull-up. Has a light-medium temper. These hides by nature, and due to the animals being free roaming, contain natural characteristics typical of American Bison including, scratches, open scars, and sometimes dark blotches.
 
This bag features tobacco grab handles, antique brass colored D Rings, and a .75” wide detachable and adjustable tobacco crossbody strap. The Beckett has an Industrial YKK double zipper that opens all the way to the base of the bag, allowing for easy access. Classy, sleek and adaptable for any outfit. From a night out, to a luggage set, there’s a size for every purpose.

All our leather goods are made in small, limited batches, so please note sizing will vary slightly depending on the dexterity & temper of the hide.
 
Each bag is handcrafted, sewn and assembled in Williamstown Vermont, USA with 100% Full and Top Grain Leather, industrial strength threads and reinforced with durable antique brass colored hardware.

We only utilize natural marked hides that are from cows that lived a happy healthy life, so often bags will have their own scratches, scars, freckles, brand marks and small 'imperfections' making each bag completely unique from the next.
